Vikram is mainly an Indian film actor who predominantly appears in Tamil films and voice actor and a playback singer. He won five Filmfare Awards as well as one National Film Award for the Best Actor. On April 17 1966, Vikram was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu. His father’s name is John Victor (alias Vinod Raj) who is Christian. His mother’s name is Rajeshwari who was a sub-collector. Vikram has a younger sister name Anita. She is a teacher and a younger brother name Arvind. In 1983, Vikram completed his schooling from Montfort School, Yercaud, a boarding school in a hill station near Salem. In his school life Vikram worked for school’s theatre and club for a long period and often took part in backstage work. After that Vikram completed his graduation in English literature from Loyola College, Chennai.
Vikram father’s name is John Victor. He was a native of Paramakudi and ran away from home to start a career in movies. And his mother’s name is Rajeshwari. In 1992, He married Shailaja at Guruvayoor. Acting Career :- In 1990, Vikram made his movie debut with the movie En Kadhal Kanmani, which was followed by a series of small-budget Tamil movie. After that In 1999 he made his breakthrough with the movie “Sethu” (1999) directed by Bala. “Sethu” is an Indian Tamil romantic drama movie.This movie’s stars Vikram and Abitha in the main roles and Sriman & Sivakumar in other pivotal roles. The film’s music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. From 2000 to 2003 he made some hit movie‘s like, action film “Dhill” (2001), Tamil action film “Gemini” (2002) directed by Saran, action movie “Saamy” (2003) directed by Hari, masala film “Dhool” (2003) directed by Dharani.
In 2003, Vikram won the National Film Award for Best Actor for the movie crime drama film “Pithamagan” (2003) directed by Bala. Vikam won critical acclaim award for the Shankar’s blockbuster psychological thriller movie “Anniyan” (2005) in 2005. He played a superhero role for the movie “Kanthaswamy”. Vikram won rave reviews from critics for his performance for the movie “I” directed by Shankar in 2015.
